Verify an Answer
Verified answers represent a specific type of Question and Answer (“QnA”) pair with a different purpose. Standard QnA pairs allow users to provide Lucy feedback about an answer. Verified answers allow users to tell other users the answer being verified, and best answers the question. Verified answers have special user interface treatment and are ranked above all other answers in that question’s results.

Figure 5 – Multiple Verified Answers.
A verified answer will remain verified until the number of downvotes is equal to or greater than the number of upvotes historically applied to the answer. If there are multiple verified answers for one question, they will be ordered based on the answer with the most net feedback applied (i.e. positive feedback less negative feedback).
To remove an answer which has been previously verified, a user may need to downvote the answer multiple times and re-ask the question or refresh the page until the answer no longer has more positive feedback than negative feedback received.
