  • Capacity is the owner and developer of Lucy (“Lucy”), a Multi Tenant SaaS Knowledge Management Platform, an Answer Engine®. Lucy is a system for business professionals to find specific answers from the sources of data that they own and / or license.
What types of indexes do you create?
  • Lucy indexes content from authorized sources, and using our proprietary algorithms, generates metadata. The original documents are never stored or modified by Lucy. They remain only in the source system of record. 
Will Lucy pre-index content or perform live searches?
  • Lucy supports both. Guidance will be provided based on the content available and the best possible user experience.
Does Lucy utilize any form of AI?
  • Yes.
Does Lucy reproduce or otherwise use content to develop machine learning language models or to train AI technologies?
  • No.
Which of my data feeds will be involved?
  • This is defined by you and our mutual clients, typically this is the client licensed data available within their subscription(s). 
What fees are associated with integrating with Lucy?
  • Lucy does not charge fees to 3rd party content providers to integrate on behalf of our mutual customers.
Who at Lucy will have access to our information?
  • Lucy operates on business need to know. Upon request, Lucy will provide contact details for any employee which handles or analyzes your information. 
Can Lucy respect our subscription access or map the user to the most appropriate access rights?
  • Lucy has a robust content control system built natively into every client instance. Roles or Attributes can be used to ensure only certain users or sets of users properly access sets of content. 
Will I be able to see how my content looks in Lucy?
  • Yes. Lucy collaborates with providers on how their content should be parsed, interpreted, and displayed. If required, Lucy's Implementation team can configure an instance of Lucy for testing and validation purposes with access to your content.
Will I be able to see how my content is interacted with?
  • Yes. Lucy’s Customer Success team provides quarterly reporting to all content providers highlighting the engagement with their content in Lucy by our mutual customers.
Will my content be properly cited within Lucy?
  • Yes. All answers presented within Lucy are required to include a source name and URL [provider directed]. Source images are optional and also supported. 
Will I be able to attribute traffic to my site from Lucy?
  • Yes. Lucy can append UTM parameters to any source URL as needed and if not supplied by your API or otherwise.
Does Lucy support SSO?
  • Yes. SSO is required between provider <>mutual customer.
