CMS Editor Experience
Overview
Creating CMS articles is a great way to showcase content for your team, share learnings, and engage users in the platform. Content editors can create, update, and publish these articles via the CMS section of Manage Company.

Article Settings
Type – Each article can be assigned to a single type, which determines its structure and helps administrators organize content efficiently.
Title – The title appears at the top of the article in preview mode, full view, and within search results.
Section – Sections contain multiple articles and are assigned to specific user groups for better content organization.
Date – This setting allows you to assign a date to your article, which can be used for reference or scheduling purposes.
Schedule Email – Enables the option to schedule an email notification to inform relevant users about the article.
Content – Provides a brief description of the article’s main topic or purpose.
Template – Offers a selection of Lucy templates or internally generated article templates to structure your content.
Description – Adds additional context to the article and appears below the title in the article preview.
Order – Determines the ranking of articles in search results. Lower numbers appear first. If multiple articles have the same order number, they will be displayed in chronological order, with the most recent appearing first.
Image – The selected image appears on the article’s preview card. If the "Include Cover Image" option is selected, it will also display at the top of the article.

Using templates can be a great way to ensure consistency across your articles. You can select a template or save a post as a new template to use for later

The left preview window displays how your article will appear when it is published

You can drag and drop various content elements onto your page to create a compelling design for your end users
4. Saving Articles
To publish, you save the content and close the content editor, then click Add to make it live
Managing Articles
1. Editing Articles
You can edit an article by clicking on its name highlighted in blue
If your article name is not highlighted in blue you will need to go to the instance in which it was published to edit the article.
2. Viewing Section and Type
You can filter to section and type to quickly find the articles you are looking for
3. Copy Link
Copying the link to the article makes it easy to navigate or share a link directly with end users
4. Duplicate
You can quickly copy an article and all of its settings with the duplicate button. This will create a copy of the article with the (copy) tag after the name
5. Active Status
Articles are off by default, as an admin, you can activate them to make them visible to end users.
